  1. General Refund Principles: a. Refunds are issued based on valid reasons outlined in this policy. b. Both freelancers and employers are expected to resolve disputes amicably first.
  2. Freelancer Refund Policy: a. Refund Eligibility: i. Freelancers are eligible for a refund if the employer cancels the project after payment but before the delivery of the agreed-upon work. ii. If the delivered work does not meet the project requirements and the freelancer fails to address the issues through revisions. iii. In cases of fraudulent or unethical behaviour by the freelancer.
  3. Refund Process: i. The employer initiates a refund request, clearly stating the reason. ii. The freelancer has the opportunity to respond to the refund request. iii. Lance Plaza reviews the case and makes a determination.
  4. Employer Refund Policy: a. Refund Eligibility: i. Employers may request a refund if the freelancer fails to deliver the agreed-upon work within the specified timeframe. ii. The delivered work significantly deviates from the agreed-upon project requirements. iii. In cases of fraudulent or unethical behaviour by the employer.
  5. Refund Process: i. The freelancer is notified of the refund request and has the opportunity to respond. ii. Lance Plaza reviews the project details, communication, and delivered work. iii. A determination is made based on the evidence provided.
  6. Dispute Resolution: a. If a dispute arises, both freelancers and employers are encouraged to engage in open communication to resolve issues before requesting a refund. b. If an agreement cannot be reached, either party may initiate the dispute resolution process through Lance Plaza.
  7. No-Show Policy: a. Employers are expected to be available for communication during the project duration. b. If an employer is unresponsive for an extended period, freelancers may request a refund for the remaining project balance.
  8. Cancellation Policy: a. Cancellations initiated by either party before the project starts may be subject to a cancellation fee. b. Cancellations initiated after the project has commenced will be subject to the refund policies outlined above.
  9. Termination of Account: Lance Plaza reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these refund policies or engage in any harmful or inappropriate behaviour.
